国産牛サーロインステーキ (ホルスタイン種) Japanese Domestic Sirloin Steak (Holstein Breed)
The definition of Himi Beef states that it must be a Japanese Black breed raised in Himi City for at least 12 months, with both its longest and final feeding location in the city. Additionally, its meat quality grade, as assessed by the Japan Meat Grading Association, must be grade 3 or higher. Previously included crossbreeds with dairy cattle are now excluded from the Himi Beef designation.
